Duties:
Serve as an expert technical resource throughout all phases of the application development and implementation process by performing requirement gathering, application analysis, development, and support of the BPM Appian system. Provide leadership and highly technical consultation in identifying and implementing new uses of information technologies that assist the functional business units in meeting their strategic objectives. Plan, conduct, and coordinate programming application activities. Write business applications computer software that contains logical and mathematical solutions to business problems or questions. Support the Appian system to deliver results when needed. Design and develop end-to-end Appian solutions, including implementing advanced Appian components and configurations, and extending Appian with additional authentication mechanisms, rule engines and SAIL/tempo interfaces. Lead enterprise-wide automation in Process Automation using Appian BPM tool and Blue Prism and Appian RPA for Robotic Process Automation. Enforce Appian development best practices. Integrate the Appian system with other existing platforms in collaboration with other information technology teams. Analyze business requirements to develop functional and non-functional system requirements. Develop approach to deliver agreed upon business requirements. Perform analysis and design activities based on SOA (Service-Oriented Architecture) paradigm. Design data models for complex applications leveraging experience of relational databases, Stored Procedures, and REST webservices. *This position qualifies for The Options Clearing Corporation’s Employee Referral Program.*
Education & Experience Required:
Bachelor’s degree in CS or related and five (5) years of software engineering experience.
Special Skills Required:
Must have work experience with each of the following: 1) Designing and developing end-to-end Appian solutions, including implementing advanced Appian components and configurations, and extending Appian with additional authentication mechanisms, rule engines and SAIL/tempo interfaces; 2) Leading enterprise-wide automation in Process Automation using Appian BPM tool and Blue Prism and Appian RPA for Robotic Process Automation; and 3) Designing data models for complex applications leveraging experience of relational databases, Stored Procedures, and REST webservices.
Salary
$135,900 – $154,500
