Location: East Hartford, CT
Full Time - 40 Hours Weekly
The Program Director is responsible for the oversight of four (4) CLAs and associated day program(s), including quality assurance and regulatory compliance.
MUST BE FLEXIBLE WITH HOURS and AVAILABLE FOR ON-CALL RESPONSIBILITIES
Duties include:
Supervision and evaluation of 4 Residential Managers; may act in the full capacity and/or perform selected duties as required.
Oversight of the administrative aspects of program implementation.
Develops and maintains a positive working relationship with all key stake holders, staff, and licensors.
Ensures program operations and activities adhere to regulatory standards and internal policies.
Participation in required meetings.
Assistance with on-call coverage for the agency.
Qualifications Include:
BS/BA in related discipline; master's degree preferred.
3 years prior experience working with intellectual/developmental disabilities with at least 2 years experience managing a CLA required.
5 years prior management of a CLA may be substituted for a degree.
Use of a personal vehicle in order to perform assigned duties is required.
Obtain and maintain certifications in CPR/First Aid, PMT, and DDS Medication Administration.
Must have well-developed organizational and time management skills and the ability to multi-task
Effective written and verbal communication skills
Proficient in the use of basic office equipment and computer software
