Data Analyst| Remote

Optomi, in partnership with a global leader in the retail industry, is seeking a Data Analyst to join their team! This candidate will have prior experience creating SQL queries to be able to help tackle and build out reports for internal and external stakeholders!


**Candidate must have prior experience working in the retail industry**


What the right candidate will have:

  • SQL querying experience
  • Google Big Query experience
  • Tableau experience preferred


Responsibilities of the right candidate:

  • Heavy SQL.
  • Building complex queries to drive action by other teams.
  • Strong data validation and efficiency to ensure what we build is not dragging our slot utilization.
  • Collect data from various sources, including databases, data warehouses, external datasets, and surveys.
  • Ensure data quality by identifying and rectifying errors, inconsistencies, and missing values.
  • Organize and maintain data in a structured manner, often using databases or data warehouses.
  • Present findings to stakeholders through reports, presentations, and meetings.
  • Provide actionable insights and recommendations based on data analysis to inform decision-making.
