Overview:
Responsible for collection, analysis and maintenance of data focused on the department's goals. Responsibilities may include the creation and administration of databases and/or support of computer programs and applications needed to achieve department goals.
Primary Responsibilities:
- Capitation revenue reporting from multiple different health plans, with an understanding of how each line of business operates and its payment methodology.
- Demonstrate aptitude for critical thinking in complex situations with the ability to synthesize ambiguous data into concrete results.
- Develop and maintain financial reports to clearly communicate actual results with comparisons to accruals by health plan and product.
- Research month over month variances to see trends in membership and revenue.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams in conjunction with Accounting and Forecasting processes.
- Work closely with business leadership in recommending and establishing strategies, plans, and processes to improve profitability and cost efficiencies.
- Produce clear, well-formatted reports that provide valuable knowledge for stakeholders.
- Accurately and concisely convey verbal financial information to business leaders.
- Leverage technology to streamline and improve reporting activities. (SQL, Excel)
- Able to meet month end deadlines with Accounting.
- Must be a motivated self-starter willing to dig deep into research and should be able to work independently with minimal supervision
Required Qualifications:
- Undergraduate degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field.
- 3 years of relevant financial analysis or accounting experience.
- MS Excel, MS Office product suite, SQL, and other technology tools.
