Job Purpose

Responsible for coordinating the operational activities while maintaining the facility upkeep to achieve the program’s objectives and navigating corporate policies and procedures. Formulate and recommend operating policies and objectives or changes to existing policies and objectives. Responsible for compliance with and implementation of approved policies and objectives. Analyze and appraise regularly and systematically the effectiveness of all inspection facilities. Develop operating budgets and ensure budgeted goals are met. Employ highly competent operating personnel and ensure they are adequately trained and fully informed. Promote the development of staff for increased management responsibilities as appropriate. Responsible for the operations' safety and training program to maximize safe operations, a safe workplace for employees, and effectively trained personnel. Represent the company to IDEM and other outside agencies at the required levels. Serve as Alternate Contractor Representative. Conduct periodic quality assurance surveillance audits at the required level of detail to measure, report, and recommend corrective actions as necessary. Perform other tasks as assigned by the general manager.
Duties & Responsibilities
Develop and implement operational strategies and initiatives to achieve business objectives and drive continuous improvement.
Lead and manage a team of operations staff, providing guidance, coaching, and support to ensure optimal performance and productivity.
Identify opportunities to streamline processes, improve efficiency, and reduce costs across all operational functions.
Oversee schedules, resource allocation, and quality control measures to ensure timely and efficient services while meeting quality standards excellent for customer service.
Leads sales efforts by providing the team with guidance, training, and mentorship, setting sales goals, creating sales plans, and analyzing data to exceed sales targets
Develop and implement inventory control procedures to optimize inventory levels, minimize stockouts, and reduce carrying costs.
Establish relationships with suppliers and vendors, negotiating contracts and pricing agreements to optimize supply chain efficiency.
Ensure the efficient operation and maintenance of facilities, equipment, and infrastructure to support production and business activities.
Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations and standards, implementing policies and procedures to maintain a safe working environment.
Monitor key performance indicators (KPIs), operational metrics, and financial targets, analyzing data to identify trends, issues, and opportunities for improvement.
Requirements
Bachelor's degree in business administration, operations management, engineering, or a related field preferred.
Minimum of 5 years of experience in operations management or a similar role, preferably in Inspection and Maintenance (I/M), automotive, services, or manufacturing.
Strong knowledge of operations management principles, methodologies, and best practices.
Excellent leadership and management skills, with the ability to motivate and inspire teams to achieve goals and objectives.
Proven track record of driving process improvements, cost reductions, and operational efficiencies.
Exceptional analytical and problem-solving abilities, with a keen attention to detail.
Effective verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to interact with stakeholders at all levels of the organization.
Proficiency in relevant software applications like ERP systems, project management tools, and Microsoft Office suite.

Pay: $90,000.00 - $100,000.00 per year
