Responsibilities: - Plan, organize, and coordinate a variety of activities and events for residents in a senior care facility - Develop and implement engaging programs that promote socialization, physical activity, and mental stimulation - Collaborate with staff and residents to identify individual interests and preferences for activity planning - Coordinate transportation and logistics for off-site outings and trips - Ensure activities are conducted in a safe and supportive environment - Maintain accurate records of resident participation and program effectiveness - Provide emotional support and guidance to residents as needed - Collaborate with other departments to integrate activities into the overall care plan Experience: - Bachelor's degree in social work, recreational therapy, or related field preferred - Experience working in senior care or assisted living facilities - Knowledge of aging issues, memory care, and ADLs (Activities of Daily Living) - Strong event planning and organizational skills - Ability to communicate effectively with residents, families, and staff members - Compassionate and patient demeanor when working with older adults - Familiarity with regulations and guidelines related to activities in senior care settings This position offers the opportunity to make a positive impact on the lives of seniors by providing engaging and meaningful activities.
