Job Description
This assignment will be responsible for assisting with financial reconciliations and month end inventory analysis and reporting.
Job Responsibilities
- Conduct weekly cycle counts of manufactured parts. Ensure accuracy against system data. Enter cycle counts into Oracle.
- Identify unfavorable variances and trends and work with management team to correct core issues.
- Develop reports that will provide timely financial and operational results to management
- Inform operations team of financial metrics and how they correlate to operational performance
- Process month end journal entries in Oracle
- Participate in annual physical inventory
Requirements
- Undergraduate Degree in Accounting, Finance, or Business
- 1-3 years of related experience in a finance or accounting environment; however, will entertain a new graduate maybe with an internship under their belt who is eager to learn and be trained
- Must have good verbal and written communication skills
- ERP system experience desired
- Must be proficient with Microsoft Office
- Must have intermediate level experience with Excel (preferably intermediate or better yet, advanced skills (Vlook-ups, Pivot tables, etc.)
- This position requires an individual to frequent the manufacturing area. Frequent walking around manufacturing, warehouse/storage areas to conduct cycle counts, lifting parts and boxes that could weigh up to 25 lbs. on a frequent basis.
- While on the shop floor, steel toed shoes must be worn
Job Types: Full-time, Contract
Pay: $20.00 - $30.00 per hour
