JOB RESPONSIBILITIES

· Lives the Owens Corning Safety Stand and meets all safety requirements. Safety is a condition of employment.

· Participates in the safety, quality, TPM and housekeeping programs as established within the plant; including but not limited to Kaizen, Safety Committee, etc.

· Performs job tasks to reduce environmental impact and adheres to the environmental regulations and recycling procedures for waste disposal.

· Complies with all plant rules and safety regulations.

· Performs cleanup duties at workstations, etc.

· Maintains proper inventory of spare parts (including mix and quantity) required to keep production line running by timely purchasing and accurate recording of spare parts usage

· Maintains accurate SAP purchasing data to minimize kickouts

· Ensures timely payment to vendors by reviewing payables kickouts daily and resolving at least weekly

· Maintains accurate SAP Material Master data, such as safety stock, to avoid over-ordering or stocking out

· Maintains SAP material codes as needed by following procedures for adding, deleting, extending or correcting data

· Manages MRP list on a daily basis

· Manages purchasing process (including procurement card purchases) for all purchases within the plant within the guidance per OC policies and regulations. Resolving issues involving invoicing, pricing, quantity and necessity of the part.

· Creates and maintains Info Records and Source Lists as required by site record retention protocol.

· Makes suggestions/proposals proactively to strive for continuous improvement of plant performance through analysis of costs, usage and trends. Identifies and communicates opportunities for improvement based on the data.

· Demonstrates flexibility to changing priorities as business needs dictate

· Establishes goals, prioritizes and organizes actions, timelines and resources.

· Understands the needs of the customer and takes action to address those needs.

· Acts decisively and shows a strong sense of urgency to ensure follow through of established goals.

· Identifies and participates proactively in learning opportunities, and develops expertise in those areas.

· Ensures standard operating procedures and processes are in place to handle after hour emergency situations.

· Perform other related duties consistent with the nature of this position, as directed by the area leader.

EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE

· High school diploma or equivalent required, two year Associates degree in a relevant field strongly preferred

· Two or more year of relevant work experience preferred

· SAP, Excel, Word, Outlook knowledge and application required

· Must be 18 years or older

· Must be a US citizen or have the right to work in the US

· Must be drug and alcohol free
