The Belanger team is seeking an energetic and proactive person to join the Finance team. Belanger offers a broad portfolio of contracts that fall into all stages of the product lifecycle (initial baseline, program execution and closeout), which creates an exciting and dynamic environment where the candidate should be comfortable with balancing competing priorities. Strong communication skills are required as this role interfaces with many functional areas. The successful candidate will perform cost management and analysis of financial data in order provide information to the management team to enable sound business decisions. Specific requirements will be in support of the financial performance measurement systems and multifunctional tasks between departments.
Duties include:
- Establishment and maintenance and control of Dataworks and accounts
- Analysis of performance data, support of management in Variance Analysis and other financial matters
- Interface with planning to ensure cost and schedule integration
- Support internal and external customers in various meetings and data requests and ad hoc requests
- Month end reporting and submitting deliverables while promoting the sharing of ideas, we at Belanger champion an inclusive work environment that supports differences and big-picture thinking.
- Assist controller and assistant controlling with business planning and analysis
- Support preparation and analysis of financial statements and supporting schedules
- Ensure internal controls are executed and monitored according to company policy
