What are the responsibilities and job description for the Packager position at OPW?
Essential Duties and Responsibilities
- Follow Bills of Materials to pull, package / wrap, palletize customer orders
- Use various measurement and hand tools
- Assemble wood pallets
- Operate industrial saw to cut wood for creating pallets
- Follow all company rules and policies
- Other duties as assigned.
Requirements :
- High School Degree or Equivalent required
- Experience in manufacturing or warehousing environment preferred
- Ability to read and comprehend instructions, manuals, and memos
- Ability to lift up to 50 pounds
- Ability to work overtime as needed
Desired Characteristics :
- Forklift experience
- Experience working with tools and measuring equipment
