Job Description
Building off our Cloud momentum, Oracle has formed a new organization - Oracle Health.
This team will focus on database service delivery and product strategy for Oracle Health, while building out a complete platform supporting modernized, automated healthcare. This is a net new line of business, constructed with an entrepreneurial spirit that promotes an energetic and creative environment. We are unencumbered and will need your contribution to make it a world class engineering center with the focus on excellence. We're looking for managers with expertise and passion in solving difficult problems in Database systems and highly available services. If this is you, at Oracle, you can help, shape, design and build innovative new systems from the ground up. These are exciting times in our space - we are growing fast, still at an early stage, and working on ambitious new initiatives. Managers at any level can have significant technical and business impact. You will be responsible in supporting business-critical Database technologies and cloud Databases to provide structurally sound and secure data throughout solutions.
Minimum Qualifications
· Experience in Oracle Database technologies
· Experience in managing large-scale, operations organizations.
· Experience in managing network and security expectations, requirements, and operations.
· Experience building multi-tenant, virtualized infrastructure a strong plus.
· Experience in managing a medium size team (5-15 people)
· Experience in project and task management
· Experience with database backups
· Comfortable with Tableau and creating dynamic reporting
· Comfortable managing JIRAs and creating JIRA reporting
Skills:
IT Engineer Manager with extensive experience in:
· Oracle Database
· Oracle Grid Infrastructure, ASM & RAC
· Cloud Services
· Microsoft Office products (primarily Excel) Prefer experience in:
· Oracle Maximum Availability Architecture & Best Practices for Oracle Database & Exadata.
· High availability & replication technologies (DataGuard, Goldengate)
· Building and managing Linux OS systems with good understanding how the Linux kernel works (IO, Network, etc.)
Responsibilities
Manages a team maintaining and/or implementing software project(s) and/or internal systems. Defines, documents and manages scope, expectations, implementation approach, deliverables and acceptance testing criteria.

California Pay Range: from $107,400 to $214,900 per annum. May be eligible for bonus and equity.
Colorado Pay Range: from $101,400 to $193,400 per annum. May be eligible for bonus and equity.
New York City Pay Range: from $101,400 to $204,200 per annum. May be eligible for bonus and equity.
Washington Pay Range: from $113,400 to $204,200 per annum. May be eligible for bonus and equity.
Oracle maintains broad salary ranges for its roles in order to account for variations in knowledge, skills, experience and market conditions, as well as reflect Oracle's differing products, industries and lines of business.
Candidates are typically placed into the range based on the preceding factors as well as internal peer equity.
