As a Hardware Developer you will contribute to multi-disciplinary projects using your engineering expertise. You will plan requirements with internal customers and usher data center hardware products through the entire project lifecycle. This includes identifying risks and serviceability issues related to physical hardware design, participating in the full hardware development lifecycle and using data and business intelligence to drive improvements to efficiency and quality of OCIs physical infrastructure.
In this role you will be focused on product introduction into Oracle Data Centers (DCs) working with cross-functional teams to ensure the new products are safe and serviceable for technicians working in the DCs. You will interact with individuals at all levels and effectively collaborate with internal stakeholders during the full product life cycle of products entering and exiting our Data Centers. Work is non-routine and very complex, involving the application of advanced technical/business skills in area of specialization. Leading contributor individually and as a team member, providing direction and mentoring to others. BS or MS degree or equivalent experience relevant to functional area. 7 years of development or related experience.
Evaluates reliability of materials, properties and techniques used in production; plans, designs and develops electronic parts, components, integrated circuitry, mechanical systems, equipment and packaging, optical systems and/or DSP systems.
Responsible for designing, developing, modifying and evaluating electronic, electro-mechanical or mechanical components, assemblies or integrated circuitry for hardware systems for the external market. Includes new design, as well as modification activities that results in significant product enhancement. Activities encompass design, analysis, testing and process development using engineering principles and methods. Technical disciplines may include electrical and logical design of printed circuit boards or integrated circuits; mechanical design of electronics enclosures or integrated circuit packaging; and embedded software/firmware design.
Work is non-routine and very complex, involving the application of advanced technical/business skills in area of specialization. Leading contributor individually and as a team member, providing direction and mentoring to others. California Pay Range: from $107,400 to $214,900 per annum. May be eligible for bonus and equity.
Colorado Pay Range: from $99,400 to $193,400 per annum. May be eligible for bonus and equity.
New York City Pay Range: from $101,400 to $204,200 per annum. May be eligible for bonus and equity.
Washington Pay Range: from $113,400 to $204,200 per annum. May be eligible for bonus and equity.
Oracle maintains broad salary ranges for its roles in order to account for variations in knowledge, skills, experience and market conditions, as well as reflect Oracle's differing products, industries and lines of business.
Candidates are typically placed into the range based on the preceding factors as well as internal peer equity.
