What are the responsibilities and job description for the QA Analyst 2-ProdDev position at Oracle?

Job Description

As a member of the technical team, you will design, install and evaluate quality control methods and systems. Design continuing maintenance of product quality. Develop standards and procedures to provide quality guidance and methods.

  • Responsible for designing, implementing and executing software tests in an agile development team throughout the full software development life cycle

  • Responsible for developing overall test strategies across functional areas

  • Responsible for maintaining and enhancing test suites across functional areas

Responsibilities

Understanding of roles, processes and procedures of software development. Performs moderately complex problem solving with assistance and guidance in understanding and applying company policies and processes. BS degree or equivalent experience relevant to functional area. Required qualifications:

  • Experience in an Agile Scrum development team environment.

  • Experience with all stages of software testing, including functional testing, regression testing, integration testing, user acceptance testing, etc.

  • Experience with various testing tools and frameworks including Postman, Selenium, Cucumber, JUnit, RQM

  • Experience with relational database systems (RDBMS) including Microsoft SQL Server.

Range and benefit information provided in this posting are specific to the stated location(s)

California Pay Range: from $77,900 to $151,600 per annum. May be eligible for bonus and equity.

Colorado Pay Range: from $73,500 to $136,400 per annum. May be eligible for bonus and equity.

New York City Pay Range: from $73,500 to $144,000 per annum. May be eligible for bonus and equity.

Washington Pay Range: from $82,200 to $144,000 per annum. May be eligible for bonus and equity.

Oracle maintains broad salary ranges for its roles in order to account for variations in knowledge, skills, experience and market conditions, as well as reflect Oracle’s differing products, industries and lines of business.

Candidates are typically placed into the range based on the preceding factors as well as internal peer equity.
