POSITION OVERVIEW
Orange Barrel Media is seeking a Financial Analyst to join our accounting and finance team. In this role your primary responsibility is to support the accounting team with external reporting to city partners and landlords, as well as assist with the management and upkeep of the lease portfolio and related systems. In addition, this role would aide the CFO and development team with pro forma and ad hoc reporting.
RESPONSIBILITIES
- Assist in the preparation of Key Performance Indicator (KPI) metrics, ad hoc reporting, and pro forma databases
- Assist with the preparation of rent reports to our various partners
- Maintain rent calculation workbooks and update lease portfolio software
- Willingness to learn postings related to lease accounting and reconciling accrued GAAP balances
- Work cross-functionally with development to obtain all required lease documentation and abstract pertinent details
- Assist with external and internal audit requests
- Continue to improve internal process and recordkeeping
QUALIFICATIONS
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or Finance preferred
- Proficient in Microsoft Office with excellent ability in Excel and Word
- Experience with Microsoft Dynamics GP, PaperSave, and SAP Concur preferred
- Experience with Microsoft PowerBi
- Proven ability to work in a fast-paced environment and meet deadlines
- Proven ability to manage multiple projects concurrently with minimal direction
- Proven attention to detail, accuracy, and documentation of work
- Self-motivated with a preference for working in a team environment
