Our animal clinic is looking for a full-time Veterinary Assistant to help out with our busy schedule. The ideal candidate will be able to keep up with our fast-paced environment and maintain a clean, orderly and well-stocked clinic. The ideal candidate will also be responsible for accurately recording treatment plans and client information, sterilizing instruments, and calling the doctor when needed.
Responsibilities:
- Understand veterinary medicine.
- Perform medical procedures on animals.
- Follow regulations, policies, and protocols.
- Administer medication or other treatment to animals.
- Handle and restrain animals properly.
- Create a safe and comfortable environment for patients and staff.
Job Types: Full-time, Part-time
Pay: $16.00 - $20.00 per hour
