Job Posting for Electrical Technician at Orbion Space Technology
Orbion Space Technology Inc. is seeking an experienced Electrical Technician to work with our engineering team to help design and develop electrical and electronic equipment.
RESPONSIBILITIES
Constructs, maintains, and tests electrical systems and components/assemblies
Assembly of high quality and high reliability custom electrical harness assemblies
Test designs and startups
Test equipment and material acquisition and tracking
Ensure test compliance with applicable EH&S requirements
Ensures systems and components meet established specifications
Reworks and repairs various electrical and electromechanical systems and components/assemblies as needed
Test execution and documentation
Data acquisition from testing
Assist with development of production processes
May train and mentor new technicians as needed
Perform other duties as assigned
MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS
Must meet definition of a US Person
AA/AS degree (or other 2-year post high school training or related work experience)
Experience in reading electrical/electronic drawings.
Hands on experience with electrical/electronic tools.
Experience with electrical wiring and soldering.
PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS
Experience with Matlab and LabView.
Knowledge of signal generators and digital multimeters.
Knowledge of replacing parts on a PCB.
Knowledge of general lab supplies.
IPC-J-STD-001 Certification
IPC/WHMA-A-620 Certification
