Coverent, an ORBIS company, is seeking an Operational Consultant to lead a program for our US Intelligence Community client. This consultant will be entrusted to build a new mission focused cyber program and will be conducting and participating in all parts of the operational life cycle. This position is ideal for an operationally focused officer looking to expand their scope of work within the IC. In this position, the consultant will have the opportunity to engage senior leaders, across agencies, and across mission spaces with the potential for TDY opportunities.

Duties/Responsibilities
- Research and write operational reports; prepare targeting packages
- Prepare presentations for senior leadership based on research plans, activities, findings and recommendations
- Brief Senior-level customers on research plans, status of activities, findings and recommendations
- Create and implement a branch and department level, measurable operational strategy
This position has no supervisory responsibilities
Education and Experience
- A Bachelor's degree is required for this position.
- Minimum of 3 years' experience as a targeter or desk officer
- U.S. Citizen
- Active TS/SCI security clearance with Full-Scope Polygraph
- Must have customer report-writing experience
- Relevant experience within the sponsor's organization or other relevant organization(s) in the Intelligence Community
- Excellent analytical skills and problem-solving aptitude
- Knowledge of and experience in the fundamentals of all-source intelligence analysis
- Attention to detail and the ability to effectively follow-through and manage status reporting, scheduling, and project communications
- High degree of personal integrity
- Excellent interpersonal skills including professional communication skills and good judgment
- Must be forward leaning, ambition, and have the ability to work in a single threaded environment
- Must be collaborative
- Willingness to TDY periodically when needed
- Ability to analyze information and identify implications for policy, processes, communications and training
- Experience with program evaluation
- Data Analytics experience is a plus!
- Prolonged periods of sitting at a desk and working on a computer.
- Routine video conference and/or in-person meetings.
- Ability to attend planned meetings within the Washington Metro Area region.
