Orchard Brooke Assisted Living Center has an exciting opportunity for a Licensed Practical Nurse for our evening and overnight shifts to join our caring and knowledgeable team at our Orchard Park, NY location.

ABOUT US:

Absolut Care is comprised of 6 senior living facilities located throughout New York State which includes five skilled nursing facilities and one assisted living facility. Our facilities are located in Allegany, East Aurora, Gasport, Orchard Park, Painted Post and Westfield. We offer a variety of services including subacute rehab, long-term care, assisted living, respite and hospice.

ABOUT THE POSITION:
The successful candidate will have a variety of duties, including but not limited to:

Responsibilities

• Helps to fulfill the care requirements of our residents.
• Working closely with others in a fast paced, team environment under the direction of the Director of Nursing.
• Accountable for ensuring that the utmost in competent care and safety is consistently delivered to all residents. This opportunity awaits a motivated and ambitious professional.
• Handles physician orders, administers medications, collect and maintain resident data, take vitals, assist with resident care and comfort.
• Assure proper procedures are followed at all times.
• Communicate with residents and their families in an appropriate manor.

Qualifications:

• Current and valid license as an LPN in the state of New York required
• Degree/certificate from accredited school or nursing/nursing program is required
• Education or experience in assisted living or geriatric nursing is preferred
• Demonstrate effective communication skills, problem solving, and conflict resolution
• Must be flexible, punctual, professional, and reliable
• Strong customer service skills and compassion
