Bartenders primary responsibility is to dedicate themselves to exceeding the expectations of members and coworkers alike. Always promise the best service and over deliver on that promise. Bartenders are required to have a complete knowledge of all food and beverage options, a positive attitude and to take a vested interest in creating the best experience for our membership. It is also important that we are in a clean, crisp uniform for every shift. During the course of service, bartenders are to work effortlessly with the service staff and kitchen to ensure an optimal experience. Setting up all bars for ala carte, weddings and other catering events also falls under the responsibility of bartenders.
Job Duties:
Report to work punctually, in full, clean uniform ready mentally and physically for the shift
Establish an extensive knowledge of all beverages and food options available in order to answer any member questions
Consistently offer professional, friendly and warm hospitality to all members and their guests
Promote and maintain a positive working environment with all coworkers in both culinary and hospitality staff
Perform all opening, side, and closing duties as well as all daily and weekly duties to the set standards
Make sure that all beverage storage areas are in an organized fashion
Update F & B manager on any major changes in inventory statuses
Consistently practice the health and safety protocols set up by OLCC and the National Sanitation Foundation
Exercise creativity when it comes to creating cocktail ideas, beer offerings or wine list suggestions
Qualifications:
· Extensive knowledge of beer, wine, and liquor with the ability to demonstrate said knowledge
· Extensive knowledge of mixology
· Excellent interpersonal skills, charisma, and a team player attitude
· Willingness to learn new concepts and ideas
· TIPS certified
· Past Bartending experience
· Must be willing to work nights, weekends, and holidays
$20-$25 an hour includes gratuities
One meal per shift
