What are the responsibilities and job description for the Loan Production Assistant position at Orchard?
About the Role
Orchard is looking for a Loan Production Assistant to help ensure that our loans have all the required documents and all deadlines are met. This role will work closely with loan processors and loan officers.
What You’ll Do Here:
- Assists Loan Originator in gathering all necessary forms and paperwork.
- Responsible for contract management including but not limited to ensuring all information needed is in the contract, partnering with third party vendors to make any necessary adjustments to contracts, and ensuring all parties have completed the required fields.
- Provide a high level of assistance to realtors, attorneys (when applicable), and any third party to maintain and deepen the relationships to foster new business opportunities.
- Confirm all required documentation has been submitted for processing.
We’d Love to Hear From You if You Have:
- Minimum of 1 year of loan officer administrative assistance and mortgage lending processing experience
- Understanding of agency guidelines and processing
- Must have strong written and verbal communication skills
- Ability to function efficiently and effectively to meet deadlines
- Detail-oriented with the ability to problem-solve and prioritize
- Outstanding people and customer service skills
- A team player with the ability to take responsibility to drive things forward even when others may not
