Job Summary:
Seeking a positive, organized, team-oriented individual for our full-time stockroom clerk position. As a stockroom clerk, you will be managing our inventory and purchasing merchandise based on our company’s needs. This individual must be able to work in a fast-paced office environment, display excellent phone, interpersonal communication and possess time management skills. As a stockroom clerk, you will manage receiving, storage, and distribution of materials as well as maintain accurate records of inventory.
Responsibilities:
· Follow food safety, quality and personal safety at Oregon Potato Company on each of the policies.
· Record inventory data manually or on a computer or handheld electronic device.
· Document discrepancies between inventory records and physical counts of stock.
· Receive, count, and verify incoming orders.
· Pack and unpack items for storage in stockrooms, storages, or warehouses.
· Process shipping requests, requisitions, or purchase orders.
· Distribute products or materials to co-workers
· Assist other stock workers in their daily duties.
· Coordinate with co-workers to accomplish large tasks efficiently.
· Process damaged or defective stock per company protocol.
· Report malfunctioning or damaged stock-handling equipment to management.
· Maintain accurate records of contracts, purchase orders and requisitions.
· Prepare documents and reports for transactions or regulatory compliance.
· Comply with safety regulations for moving heavy objects and using machinery.
· Keep the stock room neat and orderly.
· Inventory stock of materials, supplies, parts, and merchandise.
· Handles correspondence calls and concerns to all outside suppliers and internal department liaisons.
· Responsible for managing all maintenance invoice sign-offs and receipts for accounting
· Order supplies and schedule vendor visits onsite, as requested
· Assists the Maintenance supervisor as necessary
· Maintains supplies inventory by checking stock to determine inventory level; anticipating needed supplies, placing and expediting orders for supplies, verifying receipt of supplies
· Maintains the reoccurring schedules around maintenance activities such as preventative maintenance, inspections, tests and system certifications.
· Compiles data from vendor invoices and supporting documents to verify accuracy of billing data and to ensure receipt of items, using calculator and computer. Compares invoices against purchase orders and shipping and receiving documents to verify receipt of items ordered.
· Prepare, process, and deliver purchase orders in a timely manner to accounts payable.
· Performs other duties assigned by any member of management.
Additional:
· High school diploma or GED required
· Minimum of six months experience in stocking, shipping, logistics or related field
· Able to complete tasks with little to no direct supervision
· Able to work quickly and accurately in a complex, fast-moving environment
· Sitting is required most of each work day. Much be able to operate office equipment. Standing, walking, reaching, bending, and lifting up to 50lbs is sometimes required
· Must possess mobility skills necessary to access a variety of work areas
· Available to work Monday-Friday 7:30AM- 4:00PM
Knowledge, Skills and Abilities:
· Able to lift up to 50lbs at times.

Pay: From $21.00 per hour
