About The Role – Yardperson / Laborer (Templeton, MA)
The Yardperson/Laborer provides bulk product delivery support to blast crews and assistance to crews for on bench operations
What you will do
- Contribute to our safety culture by wearing assigned Personal Protective Equipment (“PPE”), keeping safety guards on equipment in place, using equipment safely, and looking out for the other members on your team
- Maintain a clean job site by picking up tools and equipment and securing job site each day in order to eliminate potential hazards
- Load and unload trucks
- Assist other team members when necessary
What you bring
- 1 or more years of experience in a construction position required
- Mining, Quarry & Construction experience a PLUS!
- Knowledge of proper use of equipment, materials, and supplies used on construction jobs
- Previous experience in commercial construction jobs
- Ability to work independently and complete daily activities according to work schedule
Accountabilities
- Must be prompt and committed to doing great work
- Must have reliable transportation to the job site
- Must be self-motivated and can work well with others
- Must be able to lift, push, pull and move up to seventy (70) pounds.
- Ability to meet attendance schedule with dependability and consistency
- Minimum age 21
- Must be able to pass a DRUG TEST and criminal background screening
- Clean driving record
Qualifications
- High School or equivalent preferred
- One year related work experience preferred
