Position Title:Systems/Logistics Staff Engineer

Basis:Full/part time opportunities

Location:Jacksonville, OR

Shift/Hours:First/Flexible

Travel:Some, primarily CONUS, travel required

Duties:In a supporting role, provides individual contributor and consulting duties in multiple systems and logistics engineering domains for DoD programs. Provides limited hardware/software analysis and design influence in the areas of human systems interface, reliability, maintainability, supportability, testability and safety. Reviews and updates existing Technical Manuals (TM), training materials, and related product support documentation and reports. Supports demonstrations and reviews with end customers. Initially serves as assistant instructor for operator and maintainer training courses (growth to lead role expected with experience). Other duties aligning with candidate's aptitudes and interests.

Position Requirements: Required/Desired

Citizenship Status: U.S. Person (as defined by 22 CFR§ 120.15)

Pre-Employment Drug Test: Negative (including marijuana)

U.S. Security Clearance: Eligible/≥Secret, active currently or within the preceding 24 months

Education: Bachelors degree in an engineering or related discipline or equivalent experience/Masters degree in an engineering or physics discipline

Experience/Skills:

Engineering:≥2* years in an engineering discipline, developing technology on DoD contract(s) (or equivalent product in federally regulated environment) *Jr positions may be available to high potential new graduates/≥4 years in engineering/test discipline(s) developing technology on DoD contract(s)

Technical: Strong technical skills and demonstrated ability to:

• Communicate with engineers, technical management, and military personnel

• Understand complex product structures and technical concepts

• Interpret, use & apply:

- Engineering drawings

- Bills Of Material (BOM)

- Specifications

- Test procedures

- Process/procedure documents

- CAD models

|Strong technical skills & demonstrated ability to:

Operate/test/support military technology/weapon systems

Experience with:

- Electro-optics

- Robotics

- Weapon systems

DoD LOGISTICS: Individual contributor experience in multiple “ilities” domains:

Development or support of product support/production/test documentation

Logistics/Maintenance Engineering

Military TM/training development

RAMT

Computer Skills:
