Position Details
Location: Roanoke, VA
Compensation: $75K-$100K based on experience and credentials. 10% Annual Performance Based Bonus.
Shift: M-F, Traditional day shift
Travel: Occasional weeklong travel in support of other facilities or for training

Position Description
As an EHS Manager, you will manage and administer all Employee Health and Safety programs and initiatives, Environmental Compliance, and Sustainability programs within the facility. You will function as part of the Plant Management Team to facilitate investigations, root cause analysis, and required follow up to prevent repeat EHS incidents. You will also assure compliance with all applicable EHS processes, regulations, and requirements and manage associated databases. You will prepare all required internal and external environmental reports, and other reports or analysis as requested. You must understand the Food Safety Policy, GMPs, HACCP Principle, and Food Safety Standard. You will coordinate to verify inventory of and order appropriate needs for the chemical process area. Other duties and areas of emphasis may be assigned.
Position Requirements
• 3 years of experience in managing EHS or Safety programs.
• Relevant Bachelor’s Degree.
• Ideal Certifications/Experience (not required):
•Safety (CSP)
•Industrial Hygiene (CIH)
•HazMat (CHMM)
• Attention to detail and ability to familiarize with regulations.
• Exceptional communication skills, both verbal and written.
• Ability to facilitate cross-functional team development and responses.
• Familiarity with Lean Manufacturing process.
