Coordinates and implements specific special event plans and projects.
Essential Functions
- Gathers information, materials and resources needed to implement key signature events, other events, and education activities.
- Develops and monitors action plans and timelines for implementation, volunteer recruitment and management, sponsor solicitation,
- Implements specific event strategies directed toward targeted donors, potential donors, and other key constituencies.
- Collaborates with other events team members and other adjacent team members to coordinate components of large and small
- Demonstrates strong project management skills while timely managing multiple priorities.
- Coordinates other projects including mailings, distribution, scheduling, filing, copying, and ordering supplies and phone calls as
- Requires flexibility to provide special event direction on weekends and holidays.
- Coordinates and organizes assigned responsibilities to confidential data.
- Maintains reasonably regular, punctual attendance consistent with Orlando Health policies, the ADA, FMLA and other federal, state
- Maintains compliance with all Orlando Health policies and procedures.
- Assists with the planning and preparation of other proposals and presentations as appropriate.
- Participates actively to assure compliance in assigned areas of responsibilities.
- Provides for his/her own personal and professional growth.
- Acts as a role model for all team members.
- Performs other duties as assigned.

Education/Training
Associate’s degree in a marketing, management, communications, data analysis or related field. Two (2) years of directly related work
experience may substitute for the Associate degree (in addition to the requirements listed in the Experience section).
Licensure/Certification
None.
Experience
Two (2) years of organizational management experience required, including involvement in special events. Familiarity with Word, Excel,
PowerPoint applications. A Bachelor degree in a related field may substitute for up to two (2) years of the required experience.
