Pro Volleyball Federation (www.ProVolleyball.com) is REAL pro volleyball and the premier women’s professional volleyball league in North America. Pro Volleyball Federation will begin play in February 2024 with world class players and coaches, including some of America’s greatest volleyball players and great players from around the world. Pro Volleyball Federation is making history by becoming the first professional volleyball league in the United States that provides opportunities for players to stay home and play professionally while making a real living wage.
Orlando is one of eight Pro Volleyball Federation markets throughout the United States. The team's inaugural season launches in February 2024. We are seeking a Vice President, Sponsorship Sales interested in applying his or her skills within an exciting new environment where the select individual can help build what will become the preeminent women's professional sports league in North America.
Position Overview
The Vice President, Sponsorship Sales is a senior leader within the organization and the leading sponsorship sales executive for the team. The Vice President, Sponsorship Sales will directly oversee the corporate partnerships department which shall include at least one full-time staff member and may also include interns and/or commissioned sales agents. In leading the corporate partnerships department, the Vice President, Sponsorship Sales is primarily responsible for the presentation, quality, sales, and delivery of the franchise’s sponsorship inventory. Responsibilities of this position include executing the team’s strategic sponsorship plan and hitting sales goals for cash sponsorship and for barter items representing budgetary relief. The position also oversees sponsor and partner fulfillment and ensures that the team overperforms for all partners while proving performance throughout each season.

Duties and Responsibilities
- Develop targeted strategies to reach and exceed company sponsorship sales goals, and work with team staff to execute said strategies
- Direct and oversee sponsorship sales staff for the team
- Execute all systems, structures, and reports (per President/GM) for the department
- Establish and manage sponsor prospect list and assign the division of the list among the sponsorship sales staff
- Establish and maintain complete records of all partner/prospect contacts and engagements
- Set appointments, meetings, and presentations as needed to secure sponsorship contracts
- Attend community networking events in order to place the team in front of local business owners and community leaders
- Write proposals and agreements for partnerships
- Coordinate the delivery and over-delivery of all partnership assets
- Approve, per franchise guidelines, all sponsorship proposals and agreements
- Coordinate with finance department all sponsor invoices and collections
- Establish and execute sponsorship sales commission SSR (systems, structures, and reporting devices)
- Establish and maintain high quality relations and performance for each partner
- Establish and execute comprehensive Proof of Performance program for each partner
The ideal candidate will be a dynamic and energetic executive with strong experience in successfully leading and managing sales teams and exceeding revenue goals in a sports environment. Candidate should have a consistent record of prospecting and closing sponsorship deals and should be a strong collaborator that takes pride in being a great teammate. Background, Skills and Qualifications
- Demonstrated history of successfully leading teams and closing lucrative sponsorship deals
- Minimum of seven years related experience in sports sponsorship sales, with progressive revenue and management responsibilities
- Must possess a significant number of established relationships in the corporate industry
- Ability to work with aggressive sales goals and manage several projects concurrently
- Ability to find opportunities, develop strategies and develop creative solutions
- Excellent interpersonal skills
- Deep-running passion for sports and sponsorship
- Proactive, high energetic approach and drive to sell
- Demonstrated dedication with the ability to lead projects from origin through execution
- Ability to lead, contribute and thrive in a fast-growing, dynamic environment

- Due to the nature of this industry, the candidate must be available to work a flexible schedule, including weeknights, select weekends, and holidays
