Anticipated initial assignment is to be at Niagara Academy, Sanborn, NY. The individual will provide health instruction to students in special education and alternative education programs, in the middle grades and in the high school grades. The individual should have strong behavior management skills and the ability to work in a collaborative culture. The individual must have knowledge of common core learning standards, next generation standards, and teaching strategies to differentiate instruction. The individual must have experience working with students who are at risk of school failure because of academic, social, and emotional differences. The individual must have or be eligible for appropriate teaching certification upon hire. Certification in physical education is desirable. Regular attendance and dependability are required. Other responsibilities may be assigned. Assignment is subject to change.

Salary range is $41,500 to $98,405. The foregoing range is pursuant to contractual salary schedules. The offered salary will be dependent upon the candidate?s qualifications and experience.
