The Role
Landsberg Orora is seeking an experienced Janitor to be responsible for the day to day maintenance and sanitation.
In this role the Janitor will be responsible for keeping the workplace clean, organized, and disinfected according to CDC, local health ordinance standards, and Company expectations.
This position will report to the: Division Warehouse Manager
Travel Requirement: 0% of Travel Required/Frequency
FLSA Status: Non-exempt
What You'll be Responsible For in this Role
- Scope of Authority:
- Warehouse Operations
- Clean the interior of buildings including desks, break rooms, floors, carpet, rugs, windows, and walls as needed.
- Disinfect commonly used items like desks, door handles, office tools, desk phones, and hand radios.
- Maintain cleaning inventory, place request for replenishing maintenance inventory as needed.
- May maintain surrounding grounds and assist in gardening as needed.
- Replace trash can liners, air filters (if needed), and other items as needed.
- Safety
- Embed a safety-first culture; Communicate and enforce EHS policies and procedures.
- Safe practices and safety consciousness in all activities.
- Performs other duties and/or responsibilities as requested.
What We're Looking For
Minimum Qualifications:
- High School Diploma or equivalent
Additional Required Qualifications:
- Proven knowledge of sanitation policies and safety guidelines and procedures
- Experience using chemical cleaners
- Able to add, subtract, multiple, and divide
- Good communication skills
- Able to work with all levels of staff
