Payroll Coordinator

Summary:

 Seeking dedicated and experienced payroll professional to coordinate payroll processing at the corporate office.

 Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

 

  • Coordinate biweekly and monthly payroll processing
  • Balance gross to net each pay period and end of month, quarter, and year
  • Create all required payroll tax files for the month, quarter, and year
  • Coordinate holiday processing with other departments
  • Create General Ledger files for each payroll processed
  • Process and balance W-2s
  • Attend online APA and payroll software year end training classes
  • Process and design reports

 

Qualifications/requirements:

 

  • Bachelor’s degree preferred or 2 years of experience processing payroll
  • Willing to work flexible hours when needed (during holiday schedules, etc.)
  • Able to maintain confidential information
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Word and Excel
  • Clear written and verbal communication skills
  • Good time management skills
  • Excellent attention to detail
  • Work well in a team environment

 

Physical Requirements:

 

  • Data entry
  • Some bending/stooping
  • Lifting less than 35lbs
  • Climate controlled environment
