We are currently looking for someone who is passionate about all things payroll to support our ever-growing organization. This full-time, in-office role will partner with management to assist with processing one of the most important aspects of the employees' experience, their pay cheque!
As a Payroll Coordinator with OrthoArizona, you will get to:
Ensureaccurate, neat, organized, and up to date filing of all payroll related documents, reports, and records.
Timely process data for payroll processing such as Employee Change Forms, Mileage reimbursement, PTO (Paid Time Off), PST (Paid Sick Time), Bereavement, and other pay items as defined in payroll policies and procedures.
Make updates to employee records by entering changes in pay, location, department, hours, status etc.
Respond to employee payroll related inquiries; research and coordinate any necessary payroll items to be added or corrections to be made.
Assist in the preparation, processing, and pre and post auditing of our biweekly payroll in accordance with the company Payroll Calendar
Prepares and distributes various payroll reports to internal customers and external vendors as needed.
Partner with benefit manager to ensure earning and deduction codes are current and up to date in accordance with the company pay schedule.
Assist HRIS support to process wage garnishments and income support orders.
Respond promptly to any errors or corrections that need to be made while partnering with Accounts Payable and issue manual checks as needed.
Create new payroll processes and workflows to support the organization's ongoing growth.
Ensures compliance with federal, state, and local payroll, wage, and hour laws and best practices.
Act as a back-up to the Compensation and Benefits manager for the overall payroll operation.
You will succeed in this role if you have:
1-3 years of Payroll related experience.
Ability to prioritize payroll tasks above any other tasks.
Be able to thrive in a fast-paced, collaborative team environment with a steady workload.
Maintain confidentiality and professionalism.
Effective communication skills including email etiquette.
Flexibility and open to change.
Have a strong work ethic and accountability.
Previous exposure to HRIS systems, Preferred- Paycor & Dayforce
