Fellowship Trained Joint Replacement Surgeon, board certified or board eligible, specializing in Hip Preservation with an interest in Osteotomy and Arthroscopy.
OrthoIndy (OI), is a well-established 50 surgeon orthopedic group in Indianapolis, Indiana. Our current surgical partners are all Board certified or eligible and the majority are fellowship trained. They range in age and scope of practice. Currently, we offer expertise in all orthopedic subspecialties including knee and cartilage restoration, total joint replacement/reconstruction, bone tumor/soft tissue oncology, foot and ankle, hand and upper extremity, interventional pain management, pediatric orthopedics, spine, shoulder and shoulder replacement, sports medicine, and trauma. Our surgical team is complimented by our own team of anesthesiologists supporting OrthoIndy Hospital procedures, along with physical medicine and rehabilitation specialists, hospitalists and non-operative spine specialists.
OrthoIndy is a well-established practice consisting of over 75 physicians, 75 Advanced Practice Providers, 55 Physical & Occupational Therapists, and many other medical professionals committed to providing excellent outcomes to our patients. Our sports medicine specialists serve numerous local athletic programs in high schools, universities, amateur and professional sports teams, including the Indiana Pacers & Indiana Fever basketball teams. We currently have 11 outpatient practice locations throughout Central Indiana, and 3 physician-owned hospital locations. We are equipped with the following ancillaries: MRI, CT, ultrasound, physical and occupational therapy, DME & orthotics, and digital X-Ray. OrthoIndy has a robust orthopedic Urgent Care program, staffed by advanced practice providers and surgeons.
We are a unique, independent practice because of our strong philosophy of being patient-focused, outcomes oriented, and cost effective for the patient, third party payors, employers as well as the hospital. A new associate would be eligible for shareholder status in the corporation upon ABOS certification and other requirements. A new associate would be placed on a partnership track with an opportunity for full participation in the ancillary services.
We admit patients to our physician owned OrthoIndy Hospital, and many surgeons are also on staff at a local, level 1 trauma hospital, or other community hospital systems. OrthoIndy Hospital has developed a unique orthopedic hospitalist program for coverage as well as its own, on-site Pre-Assessment Testing clinic for surgical clearance needs. Call responsibilities based on group assignment is approximately 1:10 for most groups. Our Trauma team provides ED ortho coverage for the level 1 trauma center.
