Orthopedic Surgery Center of the Fox Valley, a physician owned ASC, is seeking a full time (0.8 FTE) Registered Nurse to provide a high quality experience for our patients on our PREP Team.

The PREP Team RNs are responsible for assisting surgical patients in becoming prepared for their upcoming surgery with an OSMS physician, which includes but is not limited to collecting the patient's medical and surgical history and medications, and scheduling any necessary preoperative appointments. We are looking for someone who is comfortable working in a fast-paced, multi-faceted environment with the ability to make people feel comfortable and welcome.

Requirements

Education:

  • Associate’s Degree (two year college or technical school) Required, Field of Study: RN

Experience:

  • One year of experience in an orthopedic setting preferred

License and Certification:

  • Minimum of two-year Nursing degree or higher required
  • BLS Certification preferred (will send for certification within 6 months of hire if needed)
