The Administrative Assistant provides general oversight of essential administrative functions and surgical scheduling of the office.
Primary Functions & Accountabilities
- Assist with general office duties such as:
- Scanning and filing
- Chart preparation
- Data entry
- Photo copying
- Facilitate telephone, fax, and e-mail requests in a timely and organized manner to ensure effective communication and excellent customer service
- Provides general office support as needed: records management, mail distribution, general administrative coverage, special assignments, etc.
- Responsible for maintaining excellent customer service standards within the office
- Refers any complex patient relation matters to the Office Manager as appropriate

Position Requirements
- High School Diploma/ GED or equivalent experience
- 1 years of experience in an administrative support role in healthcare.
- Surgical Scheduling experience
- Demonstrated supervisory ability in previous roles
- Familiar with Microsoft Office and other computer operations
Knowledge, Skills & Abilities
- Strong analytical, prioritizing, interpersonal, and problem-solving skills.
- Self-motivated, attentive to details, and ability to meet deadline.
- Effective written and verbal communication skills
- Knowledge of federal and state tax laws.
Position Requirements
- Bachelor's Degree in Accounting, requiredAdvanced MS Excel skills, required
- At least two years accounting and reconciliation experience required.
- Sage Accounting and/or EPIC experience a plus.Healthcare experience preferred
- Physical health sufficient to meet the ergonomic standards and demands of the position
