Maintenance Assistant

Orwigsburg Center is currently seeking a Maintenance Assistant to assist in the general maintenance of the facility and equipment.

Monday-Friday Schedule

Overtime and on call may be required.

Duties include:

  • Perform routine preventative maintenance on all equipment
  • Maintain/Repair mechanical and electrical equipment(washers,dryers)
  • Setup and adjust TVs
  • Replace and repair electrical fixtures and circuits
  • Perform plumbing repairs on piping, toilets, urinals, flush valves, faucets, washers'packings and drain lines
  • Ability to troubleshoot and maintain HVAC equipment
  • General Painting
  • Other related duties as assigned

Qualifications:

  • Previous manitence experience is required; healthcare experience is highly desirable
  • High School Diploma or G.E.D. required
