Overview
JOB PURPOSE:
This position is responsible for the purchase and placement of print, radio, outdoor and internet advertising. Under general supervision of the Director of Marketing, the Media Buyer is responsible for developing media campaigns from initial strategy development through final campaign analysis. This includes planning, negotiating, and buying as well as measuring campaign effectiveness. Responsible for overseeing and implementing all Social Media campaigns, initiating communication and interaction with Osage Casinos guests to drive traffic and gain brand awareness. The mission of this position is to find a combination of media that will enable the Marketing Department to communicate the message in the most effective manner possible at the minimum cost.

MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS:
- Must be at least 21 years of age.
- Bachelor’s degree in business administration, Marketing, Advertising, Mass Communications, or substantially related field to business.
- (4) years of Media Buying experience required.
- Experience with creative Print, Broadcast, Radio, OD/OOH & social media.
- Budget management experience required.
- Direct experience in media planning and strategic spot placement required.
- Previous experience with managing Social Media campaigns required.
- Previous experience in Media reviews with Media vendors.
- Negotiate sales contracts and products across all radio, digital, print, outdoor and social media platforms.
- Required to pass a drug test and obtain and maintain a gaming license to work in a casino from the Osage Nation.
- Required to maintain a valid Driver’s License.
- Required to provide documents to show the applicant is eligible to work in the United States.
Responsibilities
GUEST SERVICE:
- Provides excellent internal and external guest services, treating internal and external guests with courtesy and consideration at all times.

COMMUNICATION:
- Makes efforts to keep informed of company information and communications by reviewing property bulletin boards, digital signage, and company newsletter.
- Effectively communicates concerns and information. Listens to communication from manager/director.
- On an individual basis or in a group format, explains why, shares information, and communicates the purpose of decisions to applicable team members.
- Ensures company information provided by management is effectively communicated.
JOB DUTIES:
- Plan, negotiate, and purchase print, outdoor, and internet advertising for (7) casino locations.
- Traffic all print ads to publications.
- Responsible for ordering and managing POP of static outdoor billboard vinyls.
- Traffic all outdoor digital artwork to outdoor vendors.
- Traffic all online content, including web ads, mobile ads, video pre-roll, pencil push-down ads, etc. to online vendors and TV/Radio stations.
- Responsible for correct advertisement placement and correct configuration of advertisements.
- Maintain monthly budget and meet with Director of Marketing on a regular basis to review MTD and YTD budget.
- Assist in writing integrated media plans for all events and promotions.
- Meet with Marketing team when events are contracted and work with vendors to schedule proposed timelines in Media outlet.
- Assists in the creation of annual Marketing plan and annual media budget.
- Plan and initiate targeted online media buys for display, mobile and pre-roll advertising campaigns.
- Optimize online campaigns to achieve cost-per-click (CPC), and cost-per-impression (CPM) goals and monitor campaign performance.
- Provide regular reporting and analysis on online campaign results using digital metrics (site traffic, visitor paths, Google Analytics) to optimize online market spend.
- Monitor and advise on new trends in Interactive Media including reviews of new sites, innovative and creative ad units, and technologies.
- Strategize, plan, and execute Social Media posts to coincide with Marketing objectives, keeping content relevant and fresh.
- Create and manage Facebook contests and giveaways to gain followers and advertise events and promotions.
- Handles paperwork required for paying vendors through purchase requisitions and checking disbursements.
- Prepare plan presentations and oversee preparation of media plan presentation elements and assists in developing media strategies.
- Forms opinions and makes decisions based on information and the identification of available facts. Makes decisions or draws conclusions using data and information from experience.
- Performs all other related and compatible duties as assigned.
REGULATORY COMPLIANCE:
- Monitors all relevant activities of the area of responsibility, to ensure that all applicable laws, rules, regulations and controls of the organization, and the National Indian Gaming Commission (NIGC) and the Osage Nation Gaming Commission (ONGC) are understood and enforced by all applicable personnel.
- Maintains excellent working relationships with other Company staff and all applicable regulatory commissions and other agencies as may be applicable to ensure compliance.
- Performs all duties in accordance with company core values, objectives of the Osage Nation, internal policies, and procedures, as well, as applicable laws and gaming regulations, including but not limited to, the state-tribal compact, IGRA, MICS, ONGR, the Bank Secrecy Act, Office of Foreign Asset Control, USA Patriot Act and Privacy Act.
Qualifications
KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS, AND ABILITIES:
