Position Overview: We are seeking a skilled Systems Engineer with expertise in DataMiner, Linux, and networking to manage and optimize our broadcasting infrastructure. The ideal candidate will have hands-on experience with DataMiner, strong Linux system administration skills, and a solid understanding of network protocols and configurations. This role requires a proactive individual who is able to troubleshoot complex issues, implement new technologies, and ensure the reliability and efficiency of our systems.

Key Responsibilities:

• DataMiner Management: Configure, monitor, and maintain the DataMiner platform, ensuring seamless integration and functionality with our broadcasting systems.


• Linux Administration: Administer and support Linux-based servers, including installation, configuration, and troubleshooting of system and application issues.


• Network Support: Design, implement, and maintain network infrastructure, including troubleshooting network connectivity issues and ensuring optimal performance.


• System Optimization: Continuously monitor system performance, identify potential issues, and implement improvements to enhance system reliability and efficiency.


• Collaboration: Work closely with other IT teams and departments to address system requirements, resolve issues, and implement solutions.


• Documentation: Create and maintain detailed documentation for system configurations, processes, and troubleshooting procedures.


• Incident Response: Act as a point of contact for high-priority incidents, providing timely resolution and ensuring minimal disruption to broadcasting operations.

Required Skills and Qualifications:

• Experience with DataMiner: Hands-on experience with the DataMiner platform, including configuration, monitoring, and troubleshooting.


• Linux Expertise: Strong proficiency in Linux system administration, including command-line operations, scripting, and performance tuning.


• Networking Knowledge: In-depth understanding of network protocols, configurations, and troubleshooting techniques.


• Problem-Solving Skills: Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills with the ability to troubleshoot complex issues.


• Communication: Strong verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to convey technical information clearly and effectively.


• Team Player: Ability to work collaboratively with cross-functional teams and contribute to a positive work environment.


• Onsite Availability: Must be available to work onsite at our Los Angeles office.

Preferred Qualifications:

• Certifications: Relevant certifications (e.g., CompTIA Network , Red Hat Certified Engineer) are a plus.


• Broadcasting Experience: Previous experience in a broadcasting or media environment is advantageous.
