Starting pay for this position is $31.51/hour; base pay offered may increase based on experience, skills and internal equity.
POSITION SUMMARY: Provides leadership and managerial support to Pastoral Care staff and provides Pastoral Care as needed for patients, families and Team Members Partners at OSF designated facilities. Functions as an active member of the health care Leadership Team and represents the Pastoral Care Department on OSF teams, councils and committees as required. Accountable for leadership of all Pastoral Care Services. Fosters responsibility for Pastoral Care staff in developing and sustaining a high standard of professional excellence, in accordance with our Mission, Vision and Values and OSF's Pastoral Care standards and best practices.
Qualifications: REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS: Education: Bachelors Other Licenses/Certifications: A minimum of two units of Clinical Pastoral Education (CPE) or a written plan for achievement within 2 years. Experience: Three years of pastoral experience in a health care setting with progressive responsibility. Other skills/knowledge: Excellent interpersonal and communication skills. Solid computer skills, including proficiency with Microsoft software. PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS: Master's degree or equivalent from an accredited college, university, and seminary or divinity school in theology, divinity, religious studies, pastoral ministry, pastoral studies, or spirituality. Board Certified Chaplain by the National Association of Catholic Chaplains (NACC), Association of Professional Chaplains (APC), or another related chaplain program.
