For over 25 years, Tryfacta has provided workforce services and solutions for Healthcare, Admin, and Information Technologies. We are looking for a Registered Nurse to work a correctional facility in Romullus, NY for the state of NY.
Registered Nurse Responsibilities and Duties:
- Diagnose and treat a patient's health problems.
- Perform health assessments to identify new symptoms of possible undiagnosed conditions or complications.
- Administer medication, insulin administration
- Attend to sick call, emergency sick call, inmate and employee accidents.
- Manage and deliver restorative or palliative care to the ill, disabled or dying.
- Teach and counsel patients about maintenance of health and prevention of illness or complications.
- Contribute as a member of an interdisciplinary health care team and as a consultant on health-related committees to plan and implement the health care needs of consumers.
- Execute medical regimens as prescribed by licensed physicians, dentists, nurse practitioners, physician assistants and podiatrists.
- Emergencies such as Narcan, physical force injuries, asthma rescure, employee accident/injury, sexual abuse/assault reporting
Registered Nurse Required Experience:
- One year of experience as a Registered Nurse
- ER experience recommended
- Experience with EKG's and blood draws
- Wound care experience
Registered Nurse Requirements:
- BLS
- NY RN License
- COVID Vaccination

- Shifts Vary (8 Hour shifts)
- Every other weekend availability is a must
