Senior Director - Supply Chain R19261

The Senior Director of Supply Chain will be responsible for aligning supply chain functional priorities and overall supply chain operations strategy across the enterprise. This role will lead the supply chain team that develop, document, transform and support core business processes, and provide expertise in the methodology of change management, talent development and continuous improvements.

YOUR IMPACT:

  • Mentor, develop and lead Supply Chain teams through Frequent Meaningful Conversations to achieve business results and develop team members.
  • Ensure high performing organization through feedback and team development.
  • Manage the planning, estimating, monitoring and controlling of costs to enable projects to be completed within the approved timelines and budget.
  • Create and drive functional strategies and objectives for the supply chain function.
  • Facilitate, document, and oversee project requirements to meet annual plans.
  • Assess organizational effectiveness of function an drive for continuous improvement and alignment to business needs.
  • Develop project plans and manage projects to support strategic process improvements.
  • Collaborate with cross functional teams, category councils, and segment leaders to understand current state process.
  • Identify process needs and improvement opportunities, and drive change management, including process adoption to impact business performance.
  • Lead process redesign and continuous improvement initiatives.
  • Manage process change and provide training and guidance to assist others with process need identification and documentation.
  • Communicate project results, present ideas, and solicit feedback to help support individual or team project assignments.
  • Ensure supplier performance compliance to company standards utilizing established tools, practices and processes.
  • Support category management and structure purchasing strategies and priorities.
  • Analyze data and recommendations to identify trends, risk, and impact to the organization and reduce the risk through root cause analysis and corrective action.
  • Manage the planning, estimating, monitoring and controlling of costs to ensure projects to be completed within the approved timelines and budget.
  • Build open and trusting relationships with team members through Frequent Meaningful Conversations; ensuring individual development plans are in place.

MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS:

  • Bachelor's degree with ten (10) or more years of experience within in Supply Chain or a related field.
  • Five (5) or more years of management or leadership experience.
  • Ability to travel 25%.

STANDOUT QUALIFICATIONS:

  • Relevant industry related certifications.
  • Ability to effectively communicate.
  • Strong organizational skills with exceptional follow through and attention to detail.
  • Strong time-management and prioritization skills, able to multi-task and prioritize competing requirements and meet deadlines.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment where requirements are constantly changing.
  • Experience and proficiency with various web-based software applications including Microsoft Office Word, Excel, PowerPoint, SharePoint, etc.
