Provides environmental services through industrial cleaning, remediation, hazardous/non-hazardous waste management, and emergency spill response. OSI has been providing waste management services for 30 years; we are committed to environmentally responsible waste disposal options. OSI strictly follows regulatory compliance and industry safety standards set by Federal and State regulations and guidelines.

Job Summary:
Supporting OSI Environmental through work at the Bemidji, MN facility:

• Including manual labor associated with moving drums and equipment, drum processing and cleaning
• Organizing/cleaning facility
• Assisting with Industrial Clean-up and Confined Space Cleaning Projects
• Supporting Field Services and Drum Route Drivers

Essential Duties:

• Self-motivated and can complete tasks without supervision
• Assist in industrial cleaning projects including duties: confined space entrant/attendant, operate pressure washer, operate vacuum hose and stinger.
• Perform labor intensive activities
• Loading/off-loading trucks
• Assisting other personnel on project preparation or other duties
• Helping OSI maintain compliance with applicable environmental safety and duties
• Wear personal protective equipment and report unsafe working conditions

Work Environment:

• Required to operate motorized equipment and machinery
• Required to exert physical effort in handling heavy objects
• Required to be exposed to physical and chemical occupational risks (such as cuts, burns, exposure to toxic chemicals etc.) most of the working day
• Required to be exposed to physical environment which involves dirt, odors, noise, weather extremes or similar elements

Requirements:

• Clean Driving Record
• Must be able to pass a drug/alcohol test
• OSI will train and assist the employee in obtaining a Commercial Driver’s License. Achieving a commercial license will trigger a monetary review.
