Job Description

OSIsoft is looking for an experienced Media Producer to join our marketing team in our San Leandro, CA office.

Responsibilities include:

• Manage the video capture, live streaming, and replay publishing of OSIsoft conferences and regional seminars worldwide
• Meet with internal and external customers and propose the content and style of video that support their goals
• Execute all technical aspects of video shoots at the SLTC office and customer sites
• Serve as the producer during video shoots to ensure that the product or use case content that is required for the video is filmed
• Film stock footage as required such as software demos, OSIsoft employees at work, and customers at OSIsoft events
• Edit raw footage using current best practices of non-linear editing to produce broadcast quality videos that meet the video's goals
• Work closely with the Events Team and a/v vendors to schedule and test the required equipment for video capture and live streaming at OSIsoft events
• Recommend new video equipment as needed while managing existing video equipment at the SLTC office
• Manage the annual contract with the streaming service, currently Livestream/Vimeo
• Obtain proper video release forms from customers and follow OSIsoft workflows for honoring customer publishing restriction requests.

Qualifications include:

• Bachelors degree required
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills
• Strong organization, communication and interpersonal skills
• Strong project management skills
• Ability to create schedules that ensure proper utilization of facilities and personnel, including large numbers of employee volunteers at special events
• Ability to change plans quickly to adjust to unplanned events
• Ability to travel within the office region and abroad for conferences and regional seminars
• Experience in audio and video editing using a non-linear editor such as Adobe Premier Pro, Final Cut Pro, DaVinci Resolve Studio, Avid Media Composer or Magix Vegas Pro
• Enthusiasm for video as a medium for delivering engaging content.
• Ability to go in front of the camera as narrator or interviewer
• Enthusiasm for learning and improving OSIsoft's documented workflows to convert, trim, publish, and repair as needed event session replays
• Self-motivated, strong self-starter and able to push projects forward with minimal management supervision
• Has a demonstrated ability to foster teamwork and establish a clear shared vision
• Willingness to balance artistic vision against deadlines and available resources
• Has an ability and willingness to see things from the perspective of other stakeholders
