The FDF Group is made up of (6) long established businesses spread throughout The Midwest and Southeastern regions.

Position responsibilities include but are not limited to the following:

• Selecting items from warehouse per customer order and packing in boxes for shipment
• Responsible for making arrangements for pick up by the carrier specified on the customer's purchase order, which is conveyed to the shipping clerk by final inspection via the shipping instructions.
• Report defective materials or questionable conditions to the department supervisor.
• Responsible for keeping an adequate supply of shipping materials on hand at all times.
• Physical control of inventory locations.
• Operates pallet jacks or hand trucks to convey, move or hoist materials to proper departments or areas.
• Operates the stretch wrap banders.
• Unpacks, examines and routes incoming shipments, rejects damaged items, records shortages, and corresponds with shipper to rectify damages and shortages. Receives and processes all defective parts returned for replacement or credit.
• Performs all computer functions necessary to track various aspects of goods. Familiarity with Fed Ex and UPS software is preferred.

Qualifications for this position include: 

• Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal.
• Good time management skills.
• Basic math skills and/or aptitude.
• Some computer experience and aptitude.
• Must be able to lift, bend, stand and sit for long periods of time.
• Valid Driver's License must be willing to submit to a drug test
• Ability to work effectively with other OTC associates, customers, and vendors.
• Ability to lift 50 lbs or more to waist high or higher
• Prior team management experience preferred

Salary : $43,600 - $55,300
