ROLE AND RESPONSIBILITIES
Position Summary:
Talent Acquisition Associate is responsible for data tracking, hosting events, uploading job descriptions to job boards and networking sites, scheduling interviews, confirming appointment and supporting Operations team and Talent Acquisition Manager at the airport. This induvial needs to be experienced with high-volume hourly recruiting, screening, cold-calls, data entry and emails. This position will sit at Minneapolis-Saint Paul International Airport.
Responsibilities:
Partners with manager to determine staffing needs.
Screens hourly candidate resumes and interviews candidates (by phone or in person).
Able to passively and actively source for all networks.
Organize hiring events for hourly staff based upon Airport needs
Develops new strategies and programs to attract candidates.
Uses traditional and nontraditional resources, such as career fairs, online job fairs, community network events, etc., to identify and attract quality candidates.
Follows up with candidates and hiring managers to obtain feedback regarding recruiting process.
Develops and maintains an excellent relationships with internal and external clients to ensure achievement of staffing goals.
Communicates important employment information during delivery of employment offers (e.g., benefits, compensation, noncompete agreements).
Manages current candidate activity in the applicant tracking system (ATS).
Qualifications and Education Requirements
Qualifications:
0-3 years in Human Resources or Talent Acquisition support
Experience recruiting in the Food Beverage/Hospitality space
Strong understanding of Microsoft Office applications including Word, Excel, and Outlook
Former knowledge/experience with an Applicant Tracking System
High energy with a positive self-starter personality
Ability to multi-task, prioritize, and follow-up on assignments
Excellent written and communication skills
Excellent analytical skills and a superb attention to detail
Friendly and positive to work well on a team with a variety of personalities
Demonstrated ability to take initiative, anticipate needs, and exercise independent/sound judgment
Education and Experience
Associate Degree or higher preferred
