Position Summary:
No Experience, No Problem! A Bartender is a customer service professional who makes and serves alcoholic and non-alcoholic beverages, while engaging in conversation with customers, learning customer drink preferences, and overall delivering an exceptional guest experience. Working as a bartender is a unique, social, and fast-paced experience, and knowing what to expect and being prepared to meet those expectations is critical. This is what the OTG Bartender Trainee opportunity delivers. We offer our trainees an immersive, hands-on learning experience within our multi-unit bars and restaurants. Trainees will gain bartending knowledge from our exceptional bartending leaders, develop professional skills and further their careers in the hospitality business.

Responsibilities:
- Greet guests quickly and pleasantly, with a smile
- Learn and educate guests on menu items
- Learn how to make recommendations to guests upon request
- Learn the proper way to pour beer and wine
- Learn how to assist guests in entering all orders into the iPad/computer system
- Learn how to mix ingredients for all drinks, including cocktails, to OTG specifications
- Learn and follow OTG's cash handling and cash register policies and procedures
- Keep a spotless working environment through regular cleaning and sanitizing
- Learn to install kegs of beer, CO2 tanks, and soda mixes; assist in moving inventory as needed
- Learn how to monitor and report intoxicated guests to the manager on duty
- Learn how to recognize and communicate any product shortages, equipment issues, or quality of service problems to the manager on duty immediately
Qualifications and Requirements:
- Bartending student/ interest in becoming a Bartender
- Inquisitive, willing to learn, able to take constructive feedback
- Strong work ethic, integrity
