Job Summary:
The Business Development Leader drives successful delivery of technology solutions for OWC. Responsible for enabling the translation of vision to reality, coordinating delivery of outcomes developed by our partners in sales, IT, and customer support. Work with the business to identify their priorities, then work with IT product teams for project/program prioritization, business architecture, sequencing, and technology governance processes for all aspects of business they support.
Duties/Responsibilities:
Responsible for sales of storage products and solutions globally.
Uses advanced storage expertise to seek out new opportunities for customer value by expanding and enhancing existing opportunities.
Creates and drives the storage sales pipeline.
Collaborates with different company departments to leverage solutions expertise for business development.
Contributes to development of quota objectives and future direction for storage product lines.
Effectively leads, evangelizes and helps to coordinate Storage marketing campaigns
Manages sales, technology teams within the department.
Special projects as assigned by leadership.
Required Skills/Abilities:
10 years of related experience in technology development, project/program management, and lifecycle management that drive outcomes supporting customer needs and usage
Able to understand high-level solution designs in support of project/program tasks and manage cross functional teams to define the product/solution definition and requirements
Detail oriented with the capability to clearly communicate business and architectural matters and build relationships with decision makers
Well-honed listening, negotiation, and communication skills - able to influence others to achieve results
Prior success interacting with architects, developers, and business stakeholders with diverse personalities and points of view
Be a change agent - we support and drive transformation
Education and Experience:
· Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, MIS, or related Business field
