Social Media Manager

Based in the company’s corporate office in Spartanburg, SC, the Social Media Manager will manage numerous hotels and restaurants with duties to include:

General responsibilities include:

• Social media management – you will act as the lead of communication with on-property and regional members and leadership to assist them with projects and campaigns, and to provide social media guidance.
• Social media strategy and planning
• Develop social media campaigns
• Update social media content across all channels
• Content creation, including video and photography
• Creative ability to capture or direct on-brand imagery and video content
• Engage with customers and followers
• Use social media marketing tools
• Monitor campaigns and analyze data
• Monthly reporting and performance tracking
• Research the latest trends
• Influencer marketing
• Reputation management
• Events and activations
• Community relations
• Local partnerships

Requirements include:

• Bachelor’s degree in journalism, marketing, digital media, or related field
• Experience as a social media manager or a similar role, with a minimum of two years of experience
• Strong copywriting skills (written and verbal), interpersonal skills, a positive attitude, and the ability to thrive in a collaborative environment
• Knowledge of best practices for social media platforms including Facebook, Instagram, LinkedIn, etc.
• Proven ability to meet deadlines, juggle multiple projects and social media accounts, and work independently
• Successful candidate will work daily in the Spartanburg, SC home office

Physical Requirements for this Position

This is a largely sedentary role; however, you must be able to walk and stand for extended periods of time as the job dictates.

Travel Requirements

This position requires up to 30% travel to your restaurants. Travel is outside the local area and overnight.
