JOB OPENING: DAY SHIFT MACHINE OPERATOR
Shift: 8 am to 8 pm (2 week repeating work cycle: Monday, Tuesday, Friday, Saturday, Sunday, Wednesday, Thursday - one week 48 hours, the next 36 hours)
Starting pay $16.50/hour
Tasks:
- Observe production and monitor equipment to ensure safe and efficient operation
- Monitor gauges, recording instruments, flowmeters, or products to ensure that specified conditions are maintained.
- Measure, weigh, and mix chemical ingredients, according to specifications.
- Dump or pour specified amounts of materials into machinery and equipment.
- Transfer materials, supplies, and products between work areas, using moving equipment and hand tools.
- Patrol work areas to detect leaks or equipment malfunctions or to monitor operating conditions.
- Draw samples of products at specified stages so that analyses can be performed.
- Record operational and production data such as temperatures, pressures, ingredients used, processing times, or test results on specified forms.
- Fill bags with finished goods and sew seams on bags to seal the finished product bags
- Sagger handling machine operation and management.
