Position Summary:
Under the supervision of school principal or designee, the Middle School Science Teacher creates a positive learning environment to facilitate the personal, social, and intellectual development of students. In order to respond to the individual needs and abilities of students, the Science Teacher must work closely with other staff, and administration of the District.

Additional Information:
- Bachelors Degree in science education or related field required.
- Current Kansas teaching license with appropriate endorsements required.
- Collaborates with other teachers on best practices and teaching strategies that support student learning.
- Collaborates with teachers in other content areas to produce cross-curricular projects and assignments.
- Engages students in the math program using a hands-on learning approach.
- Coaching and student organization advisor/sponsor positions may be available.
USD290 conducts background screenings and TB tests on all potential candidates.
