Job Description
The SQL Programmer will be joining a team that offers career growth, continuous learning opportunities and exceptional employee benefits. This position will have you working a hybrid schedule, with onsite and remote work each week so being local to the Troy area is required.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
- Designs, develops, and implements reporting solutions, focusing on accuracy, usability, and performance
- Ensures the data warehouse system is available and all extracts loaded efficiently and correctly.
- Integrates data sources through the ETL process into the data warehouse.
- Partners with the Technical Business Analyst and stakeholders to evaluate requirements for programming feasibility.
- Collaborates with Stakeholders to help identify new data needs and delivery mechanisms for analysis, process improvement, and visibility and also to resolve reporting application issues.
Requirements:
- Experience doing SQL programming working with MS SQL server, SSIS and ETL tools
- Working knowledge of SSRS, Excel, and/or Power BI
- Knowledge of Python and Java or other preferred languages
- Experience with Microsoft Visual studio, Visual Studio Code eclipse and SSMS
