What are the responsibilities and job description for the Finance Director position at OU Education Services?
OU Education Services (OUES) is a nonprofit created to manage and grow online learning at the University of Oklahoma. The University of Oklahoma Board of Regents has authorized OU to engage OUES in supporting OU to manage and deliver online programs and courses. OUES was created in collaboration with the university and will improve OU's capabilities to increase education accessibility.
OUES is looking for a Finance Director who is experienced in the budgeting and spending areas of a non-profit company as well as the finance models of higher education.

Work Schedule: M-F, 8-5
Work Type: hybrid
Responsibilities:
- Own the preparation of annual departmental budgets
- Oversee treasury management, including AR, AP, and working capital needs.
- Build long-term (5 years) financial models to help guide the organization to achieve strategic objectives
- Build internal and external pricing models to support contract negotiations with external partners
- Provide timely monthly, quarterly, YTD financial reporting vs. budget analysis to executive leadership
- Support department leaders with analytical models to better inform strategic decisions
- Partner with outsourced accounting team on timely monthly close reporting
- Support outsourced tax team on filing annual 990 report
- Partner with HR and outsourced PEO provider to process payroll and benefits
- Provide ad-hoc financial analysis as assigned by executive leadership
Requirements:
- 5 - 7 years of operational finance and FP&A experience in start-up, fast-paced, entrepreneurial environment
- Ability to build financial models from a blank sheet
- Clear understanding of the online higher education economic structure
- Willingness to dig into the details and build efficient and effective internal processes
- Ability to synthesize and clearly communicate financial information to executive leadership

Salary Range: $95-$105K
